SSL access to Ispy API

Postby adanjz » Tue Aug 22, 2017 4:06 pm

Hello all, so i have a windows server 2012 in aws and want to connect to the ispy api via another server in linux, i have done all the connections through the API but now im moving all to SSL and it apears that allowing the windows server ssl access does not give me access in ssl to the ISPY port. How can i set it up? im using all the amazon producs here, SSL, EC2, ELB.

Thanks

Hello, SSL is relatively straightforward to set up via the settings dialog -> SSL Certificate.

Are you sure it is not a certification path issue on the client end?

Hi jlchaves,

Wonder how you handle SSL renewals as you scale up with additional iSpys? I'm thinking of using LetsEnrypt which requires renewal every 3 months but it's all free.

Thx,
