Recording not Full resolution? How to turn off encoding

Postby jusone808 » Tue Oct 20, 2015 8:13 pm

I currently have 3 1080p cameras, an i7 computer with dedicated video card. The cameras give off a 1080p RTSP feed h264. When I add the cameras into ispy using VLC but for some reason when recording the play back is only 640x480? Is there a way to not encode the video or get full resolution? If I play the same stream in VLC player the video is 1080p. If I use ffmpeg in ispy the video records at 1080p but very glitch? Any recommendations?

Hello check that "no resize" is checked in video source options when editing the camera. Also, right click the camera and click "Reset size".
In ispy try setting the transport in ffmpeg settings (video source settings) to TCP instead of Auto.
