I was having the UI lock up after a few minutes. I was also having the record mode stick during this time and the files not actually being written. Switching to the 32 bit version fixed it.

I can testify that bf584's suggestion to switch from the 64bit to 32bit version has sufficed with zero errors reported to the log file. There doesn't seem to be any loss in performance, just an overall improvement and no locking up. No need to revert to older versions. CPU load remains between 38 and 50%. :D

I'd say it's a Solution

I met the same symptoms exactly... Once a day the iSpy stuck on recording the video.

Same issue with 64 bit on win 10.t, total lockup of application requiring task manager to give it the boot.

Back a version, or 32bit - hard choice.

It would appear that my post about the 32 bit version working was premature. It is still locking up, it just takes significantly longer to happen. 8 hours or so instead of 3 minutes or so.

Same issue here. It just stops after some hours. According to the taskmanager several versions are open. Normal closing is not possible; it has to be done through the taskmanager or in two cases by procesmanager.

Same problem here as everybody else.
One camera picture has the record indication on and the whole application is frozen.
Happens once or twice a day.

Thanks boudou for holding the old versions. I'll try the previous version.

Hi,
I'm new using iSpy.
Actually, I've been using it since two weeks ago.

Since I've started using it, I've been having problems with it.
It crashes after been running for some hours.

I can gathered the iPpy process continously increases its memory usage.

# iSpy process, Memory (Private Working Set)
Date Time | [mb] | Notes
-------------|------|------
Oct/05 23:00 | 64 | Start
Oct/06 18:00 | 5076 | The hole computer not responds
Oct/06 18:00 | 80 | Start
Oct/06 22:30 | 300 |
Oct/08 22:50 | 75 | Start
Oct/09 08:00 | 125 |
Oct/09 19:10 | 260 |
Oct/09 23:34 | 1015 | Camera 1 hunged

These are the details I can gathered:

# Environment.
iSpy version : 64-bit v6.8.5.0
Operating system : Windows 7 64-bit Professional English Service Pack 1
CPU : Intel i5-2540M 2.60 ghz
Memory : 8 gb

# Cameras.
Model : Wansview 750, X Series (Vendor: oem, Model: xseries)
Quantity : 4

# Streams.
I can get they have 3 streams:
. Stream 1: 1920 x 1080, H.264, 3072 kbps, AAC audio, 16 kbps
. Stream 2: 640 x 360, H.264, 512 kbps, AAC audio, 16 kbps
. Stream 3: 320 x 180, H.264, 256 kbps, AAC audio, 16 kbps
I tested the 1st stream and then I've been using the 2nd one.

# Source.
Tab : FFMPEG (H264)
URL : rtsp://admin:

# Recording.
It records on every motion detect.

Thanks,

Hi,
Which version worked ok?
