Re: Showing Motion Bars on VLC Playback

Bump, anyone? Sorry, I don't have an answer, but admire such persistence! The bars are generated from data in a file named data.xml for each camera. This has a record for each mp4 recording. You can inspect these just by double-clicking which will probably invoke a browser to display in formatted l...

Re: Position of Media Panel icons

The "Media Panel" has a useful set of icons across the top which perform actions on selected recordings as shown by their thumbnails. But these icons obscure several of the most recent thumbnails, which is not so convenient. However there is an unused strip to the right of the thumbnails ...

Re: toolbar obscuring images in media panel

Video player not "always on top"?

When I play a video within iSpy the video window seems to be always on top, which is not always convenient. If I minimise it to get it out of the way so I can access the main window, and then play another video the video window does not automatically re-open. Can these behaviours be made more normal...

Re: Changing configuration files

FYI, I had a program a few years back which could change the camera setting based on sunrise/sunset, sort of like how a GPS goes to night mode at sunset. Would be a nice addition to iSpy so we would not have to change the schedule manually as the daylight hours change. I'm happy to give a copy of a...

I have no experience of this, but "object detection" sounds like what you want...
